DISTORTED BODY
Depression arrives quietly. It changes the body, unsettles the senses, and eventually distorts the shape of the world.
“Distorted Body” traces the sensory landscape altered by the cognitive distortions of depression through movement, surround sound, and light.
This work does not seek to explain or sensationalize depression. Instead, it invites us to contemplate an inner landscape that many of us have passed through or may still be navigating. Tracing the broken and distorted senses shaped by the society we live in, it quietly asks you.
